After having some bad experiences with a removal company a few years ago during my last move, I was quite anxious to do a bit more due diligence this time around. A number of firms gave me their quotes, however I felt that Kris was the most professional in his approach and method.
So although the other companies had more referrals on the website I decided to use London House Removals to help me in the move. I was really glad I did as the team sent were really hard working and efficient.
They showed great care to my furniture and goods and ensured that everything was packed and secured appropriately. On top they tried to understand where I wanted everything to go and worked accordingly.
One thing which really stuck out was that during the unloading at my new property, they delayed themselves to confirm the layout I had requested in our garage. They were concerned that an item would be exposed and would almost certainly get dirty and damaged. This was very much appreciated as I had instructed them to put it there without realising.

When you are stressing about a move and you want a professional service, speak to London House Removals. I was fretting about costs and the whole move, I spoke to Kris who was extremely honest and professional.
I did have cheaper quotes but went with Kris and they were worth every penny, in fact if I move again I would only give them a call. The speed and efficiency they dealt with the move on the day left my jaw dropped.

In December last year Kris and his team did a fantastic job with my removal. It was not a straightforward move (two properties moving into one, a baby, a cat with the habit of disappearing when needed, a huge fish tank, just to mention a few critical points) but Kris and his mates are real professionals and everything went smoothly.

Excellent service and communications from Kris and his team. We had a few problems with our sale and purchase which meant that we could not confirm moving date until quite close to the completion date.
We also had to place our belongings in storage and Kris helped after all of this without any fuss which helped relieve some of the stress we had for the move. I would recommend this company to my friends and family. In summary they provide a very helpful and friendly service.

Kris came to my previous address in order to estimate just how much needed moving, how much was required in terms of packing materials (I packed everything myself), etc. – something he did very efficiently and quickly!

Kris and his team were just great. We hummed and hawed about going with a more established company, but we invited Kris to quote based on the many positive reviews we read.
Upon meeting Kris we thought: “Here’s a decent young man working very hard to establish a business who’ll probably do a very good job.” And we were right.
His quote was also the lowest of the companies we invited to quote, but we really couldn’t have asked for anything more in terms of the service we received.

We were told the previous evening that we had to be out of the house a day earlier than expected meaning Kris and the team had to squeeze a 2 day job into 1.
They arrived at 7am and left at 11pm – they were professional and extremely efficient throughout.

London House Removals recently moved me from north London to Putney. Because my flat was very small I had very little space to pack anything in advance so they arrived early on the morning of the move and proceeded to pack everything up for me. They worked tirelessly and cheerfully and nothing was too much trouble. For logistical reasons I had been given a quote over the phone rather than a home visit and to my dismay, we discovered I had more stuff than they had anticipated.
As a result they needed to make a second journey to pick up my bed and garden furniture but they did so cheerfully and without complaint even though it meant they were working until 9 at night. They even brought me a pint of milk on their way back with the remaining stuff! All in all they provided an excellent service and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Lucas and Thomas were bang on time, on a Sunday morning, loaded everything with care and dedication, no pressure or rush, although they had to drive from London to Liverpool, a journey of 207 miles, for a few hours. On the other end everything was offloaded without a hitch, nothing broken, again no rush nor pressure, and closed the operation without extra or hidden charges.
I would strongly recommend London House Removals for their professionalism, punctuality and good communication through Manager Kris, with whom we were in touch during the move by phone or text. I had lower quotes but decided to go with my gut feelings, after having spoken with Kris on the phone.

We were SO impressed with London House Removals. We were moving with 2 small children, a cat and my mother-in-law in tow and I really don't think my sanity would have remained intact without them.
They arrived the day before to pack everything up, which was brilliant - no breakages and everything packed very logically so we could find it all easily when we were ready to unpack.
On moving day itself they arrived at 8am, and (because our completion was a bit delayed) ended up staying until about 7.30pm, putting everything into the right rooms and assembling the furniture. They moved a piano, more books than one household should need to own and everything else that comes with family life with calm and charm throughout.

We moved from Hertfordshire to the Cotswolds and requested 6-8 quotes for the job.
Even from the initial inquiry London House Removals (LHR) was very prompt to reply and arrange a video call to estimate the cost. They were on time to the minute for the call and were very courteous and professional as we took Daniel around our home. In the end, he said he would complete the quote by the end of the next day, and he duly delivered (might seem a trivial thing but a lot of companies were hard work to arrange the call, get them to call or provide the quote - when you’re busy at work all day you don’t want to spend your evenings and weekends chasing people!)
We felt the quote (2nd cheapest but clearest to understand and detailed every element we had requested like disassembly and reassembly) was very good, but whole experience made us feel they were a professional company with the right experience. The number of boxes and packing equipment that Daniel estimated was absolutely spot on - impressive!
The move itself was exemplary.
The team turned up 5 minutes early, introduced themselves, and instantly put us at ease (at what’s a stressful time). They put down sheets and things to protect our house and got to work at lightning speed. For 4 hours they worked tirelessly, constantly in communication with us and just so very polite and professional.
At our new address in the Cotswolds, again I can’t fault a single thing. From the way they parked the vans to make sure our neighbors were able to access their properties, to the assembly of the beds/wardrobe/desk they were excellent.
When you are moving your worldly possessions, you want others to treat your belongings as you would, that is exactly what Adam and the team did. They made a somewhat stressful experience of moving home, very easy on the day of the actual move and we are very grateful.

The movers arrived at 6:58 and the two movers worked tirelessly at a very fast pace and did absolutely everything that was asked of them completing the job on time and on budget. I was totally stressed with the move as it was long distance, we were moving from London to Hastings with a lot of stuff! From start to finish Daniel was a total professional, he did a home visit and was able to ensure we had enough boxes and gave advice on all my plants in my back garden and moving them too! On the day Adam and the team cleared the house in super fast time. They were an amazing team, so friendly, responsive and so respectful. We had 3 elderly cats and they were so kind to them and that really put us at ease!
